For users who have created a profile on Kontext previously, you should have received an email about Kontext Profile changes. This page summarizes the key changes.
About the changes
Kontext is making many improvements and changes about the platform to provide better user experience. On 21 March 2022, the following changes are now effective on Kontext.
- Users now need to publish at least 10 effective articles, threads or diagrams to be eligible for creating Kontext profile.
- If you have created a profile previously, AND also have published any effective content (article, thread or diagram) on Kontext, your profile is automatically approved. There is no impact to you.
- If you only created a profile without publishing any content, your profile's status is changed to 'Waiting for approval'. It will not be visible to users until you reach the minimum requirement in item 1.
All these changes are made to ensure the quality of content on Kontext.
New 'My dashboard'
'My dashboard' page now also has a shiny new look.
