Learn how to reset your password and recover access to your Kontext Platform account.

If you’ve forgotten your password or need to reset it for security reasons, this guide will walk you through the complete password recovery process.

Forgot Your Password?

Requesting a Password Reset

  1. Navigate to the login page

  2. Access the password reset form

    • Click “Forgot Password?” below the login form
    • You’ll be redirected to the password reset request page
  3. Enter your email address

    • Provide the email address associated with your account
    • Click “Send Reset Link”
    • Check your email for the reset instructions

What to Expect

After requesting a password reset, you’ll receive an email from Kontext (no-reply@kontext.tech). The email will contain a secure reset link that is valid for a limited time (typically 24 hours). If you don’t see the email, check your spam/junk folder.

Resetting Your Password

  1. Open the reset email. Check your inbox for the password reset email and click the “Reset Password” button or link in the email

  2. Create your new password

    • You’ll be redirected to the password reset page

    • Enter your email address to confirm your identity

    • Choose a new strong password that meets the requirements:

      • Minimum length: 8 characters
      • Uppercase letters: At least one (A-Z)
      • Lowercase letters: At least one (a-z)
      • Numbers: At least one (0-9)
      • Special characters: At least one (!@#$%^&* etc.)
    • Confirm your new password by entering it again

  3. Complete the reset

    • Click “Reset Password”
    • You’ll see a confirmation message when successful

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during the password reset process, here are some common problems and solutions:

Reset Link Issues: Reset links expire after 24 hours for security reasons. If your link is invalid or expired, simply request a new password reset from the login page and use the most recent email you receive.

Email Not Received: If you do not receive the password reset email, first check your spam or junk folder for messages from no-reply@kontext.tech. Mark the email as “Not Spam” if you find it there. Email delivery can sometimes be delayed, so wait a few minutes and ensure you entered the correct email address.

For best security, use a unique, strong password for your Kontext account and enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Keep your recovery email up to date, log out of all devices after a reset, and update any saved passwords. Avoid reusing passwords from other sites, and contact support immediately if you notice suspicious activity.

  1. Change your password immediately
  2. Enable two-factor authentication
