Change project basic settings

This guide shows how to update the basic details of a project, including its name and description.

Where to find project settings

1. Open your project.
2. Go to Settings → General.
3. You will see the “Edit Project Details” card.

Edit project name and description

• Project Name: The display name of your project (max 100 characters).
• Project Description: A short summary shown on project pages (max 500 characters).

Steps to change:

1. Enter a new name and/or description.
2. Click Save Changes.
3. Your updates are applied immediately.

Tips

• Use clear names so your teammates can quickly identify projects.
• Keep descriptions concise and informative.
• Only Project Owners and Administrators can change basic settings.
